Three year course

First Level Graphic Art course

The course offers a wide educational selection of courses  focusing on the different styles and technical innovations which characterize the modern art world, the aim is to create and shape professional figures who are able to carry out their own study both in the field of traditional graphics and in the development and experimentation of multi media and contemporary graphics. The students will develop their research focus in different areas: from the creation of works created using traditional procedures, to the experimentation of new materials and innovative methodologies, including photography, video, digital and multimedia technologies, including three-dimensionality and installation.

  • Learn traditional techniques of graphic arts such as wood engraving, chalcography, lithography, serigraphy and new contemporary styles of expression
  • Experiment the fusion between traditional graphic techniques and new technologies
  • Learn in a dynamic environment, exchanging the different national and international artistic-cultural styles

To be admitted to the First Level Academic Course you must have a high school diploma or any similar suitable qualification obtained abroad. The admission tests include:

  • a multiple choice test including general knowledge questions and specific questions regarding the area of study of the chosen School 
  • a still-life drawing test with the use of real life models
  • a free choice artwork test, creating one   or more pieces, using the techniques, as chosen by the candidate
  • aptitude test and portfolio presentation

Future Employment prospects

Second level Graphic  graduates will have the necessary skills to carry out a number of different roles in different areas: as a professional artist, in the field of visual arts, in creative activities and in teaching in areas of publishing, animated videos, illustration and designing visual graphics. Graduate students will specialize in the design and development of graphic matrices with traditional tools as well as with new technologies.
