Competition notice for artistic residences

AI - Artificial Intelligence

The Goethe-Institut launches a competition for young artists and is giving away 13 residences in the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

With this program of artistic residences, the Goethe-Institut wants to start a dialogue in Europe between the world of art and that of technology. The residences are part of the "Generation A = Algorithm" project, launched on the occasion of the European semester of the EU presidency of Germany.

The program aims to promote access of art to research in the field of artificial intelligence. Art can act on one hand as a seismograph of social developments related to Artificial Intelligence, and on the other as a catalyst for a valid and socially responsible transformation of this new technology. It can open up new perspectives on the subject and bring the discussion out of the circle of experts into a wider social stratum.

Your future for Merit

With Intesa Sanpaolo up to € 50,000 to finance your studies at advantageous conditions.

Finance your studies?

From today you can count on an economic support studied by Intesa Sanpaolo to allow you to continue your studies with serenity.

for Merit is a loan that every student residing in Italy can obtain on the sole condition of being in good standing with their studies. The offer is differentiated for "on-site" or "off-site" students and does not require any guarantees.

for Merit it allows you to meet tuition fees, the purchase of teaching materials, accommodation costs and everything necessary to face your own course of study with ease. And students have no obligation to report these expenses.

At the end of the studies, a 24-month "bridging period" is activated, during which the student will no longer receive grants but will not have to return anything yet.

The return takes place within a maximum period of 30 years; in case of early extinction there are no additional costs.

The rate is fixed and defined at the time of subscription.

All interests are transferred from Intesa Sanpaolo to the "Fund for Impact", the fund created for categories with difficulties in accessing credit and studying.

For contractual conditions, consult the Information Sheets available in the Branch and on the bank's website. The granting of loans is subject to bank approval.

Every morning...

by Merit on the side of the students in every challenge

ARTKNIFE 2020

Forging competition with registration for limited places

Design and Sculpture Competitions

The Artknife Project was made possible thanks to the Funding of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region as part of the regional notice for the development and dissemination of culture.

The international calls are addressed to different expert figures and deal with:

  • the construction of a large-scale work made with the waste material of the knife manufacturers of Maniago (a territorial reality very famous in the world for manufacturing art) which will then be exhibited in the town itself.
  • the creation, in collaboration with local companies, of the "cheeks" of a custom knife, unique in its kind.

Both calls require days of artistic residence in the area, a day of guided tour in the territory of the Friulian Dolomites and a cash prize.

Ti conosco, mascherina!

From 19th of June to 10th of July 2020

19th of June - 10th of July

by Marco Casentini and Dany Vescovi

Lorenzelli Arte resumes its exhibition activity by welcoming the invitation of Marco Casentini and Dany Vescovi, artists and teachers of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, to start a collaboration, today so rare between public and private, through the exhibition of works by students of the prestigious Milanese institution. An important opportunity to reconnect the subtle ties between the author and the public that the work of art can weave and to find, not only symbolically, a relationship perspective and an opportunity to restart through the projects of young artists after the forced forced break to the health emergency.

The exhibition entitled Ti conosco, mascherina! presents the works, specifically selected for the event, of 27 students of the Accademia and wants to represent a recognition of personal research developed over time through different expressive languages: painting, video, installation, sculpture.
