Ti conosco, mascherina!
From 19th of June to 10th of July 2020
Lorenzelli Arte resumes its exhibition activity by welcoming the invitation of Marco Casentini and Dany Vescovi, artists and teachers of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, to start a collaboration, today so rare between public and private, through the exhibition of works by students of the prestigious Milanese institution. An important opportunity to reconnect the subtle ties between the author and the public that the work of art can weave and to find, not only symbolically, a relationship perspective and an opportunity to restart through the projects of young artists after the forced forced break to the health emergency.
The exhibition entitled Ti conosco, mascherina! presents the works, specifically selected for the event, of 27 students of the Accademia and wants to represent a recognition of personal research developed over time through different expressive languages: painting, video, installation, sculpture.

Riflesso Riflessioni. Online exhibition of Painting
Self-portraits in the mirror at the time of Covid 19. School of Painting. Accademia di Brera.
This online exhibition reveals itself as a first visual outcome of the research theme of the current academic year: "It can be done otherwise ..." which investigated the meaning and function of contemporary painting starting from the presuppositions of necessity, passion and commitment by putting I discuss the art system, training and the role of institutions in a Country that holds two thirds of the world's artistic heritage.
The completion of this survey will take place in the first semester of the next cycle of studies and will see its fulfillment during a performance in which the theses elaborated by this School will be posted on the portal of the Church of Santa Maria di Brera.
The current period of isolation caused by Covid 19 has forcibly contributed to developing in all of us particular moments of reflection on our role as intellectuals, as well as on the multiple components of diversity that characterize us both in the social superstructure and in the context of the Academies of Fine Arts.
These differences, history is witness to us, have contributed to the development of a particular dialectic between the arts, the sciences and the letters inside a building, the first European polytechnic, which since the century of the Enlightenment has been animated by characters who have marked the Italian and international eras.
Aware of these past, we work to adequately follow in their footsteps by perpetuating the practice of painting daily, with thought and hand.

Catalog of the works
APERTO. Online exhibition of Sculpture
Works produced in 2020 by students of the Accademia di Brera
From Monday 20 July, the catalog of the APERTO exhibition can be visited, in which some of the works produced in 2020 are presented, by students attending the Sculpture School of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera.
APERTO is not an exhibition with selected works but an inclusive space where to develop that comparison, even if at a distance, that we could not deal with in the classroom through shared artistic practice.
APERTO also wants to point out the expressive vitality and artistic ingenuity shown by our students in this complex situation, remembering that from 10 March 2020 the planned training modalities have undergone radical changes but the research and artistic production paths have never been interrupted.
