Enrollment procedure only for thesis/final exams

First Level Academic Diploma (Three year course)

Enrollment is only allowed for those students who have passed all exams by the autumn session (SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER) of the previous academic year.

Enrollment does not allow the student to attend and take exams during the academic year 2020/2021.

The only exam allowed is the discussion of the thesis in the scheduled sessions.

Registrations for theses are from the 4th of August to the 5th of October 2020 exclusively on line.

From the 5th of October to the 15th of December 2020

The students must submit the document as listed below using the online procedure from their online profile. Upload the document to the relevant item on the menu:

  • Receipt of government taxes 72,67 Euro (using postal money order, account 1016)
  • Health and Safety regulations form

Registrations for subsequent years are open from 4th of August to the 5th of October 2020 exclusively on-line.

Students are required to connect to their online profile and in the Home section click Enrollment 2020-2021

First Level Academic Diploma (Three year course)

Enrollments for the first year are open as from the date of the test results publication until 5th of October 2020 and only on-line.

Students who have passed the entrance test at other institutions are not eligible for enrollment.

From the 5th of October to the 15th of December 2020

Students must submit the documentation listed below, though the online procedure from their online profile. For each item submit the relevant documents:

  • Registration application form, printed from profile on the online Secretariat, including a photograph
  • Receipt of government taxes 102,93 Euro (paid using postal money order account 1016)
  • Self-certification of study qualification (at foot of the page)
  • Health and Safety regulations form (at foot of the page)

It is possible to register for the entrance test by connecting to the Accademia site www.accademiadibrera.milano.it by carrying out the following procedure:

  • Carefully read the regulations on registration and taxes and fees.
  • Make the payment of the 1016 bill for the amount of € 15.13.
  • Register on the site (new student registration).
  • Pre-registration for the entrance test.
  • Once pre-registration is complete, reconnect to the profile for printing the Pago PA payment notice

During the entrance test pre-registration procedure, upload on your online profile:

  • Valid identification document / passport
  • Fiscal Code (only for Italian citizens).
  • Receipt of payment of the government tax on postal account 1016
  • Only for the disabled student upload the disability report.
  • In the absence of one of the aforementioned documents, it will not be possible to complete the pre-registration.

To be admitted to a First Level Diploma Course, you must have a Secondary School Diploma or other qualification obtained abroad recognized as suitable by the Accademia in compliance with international agreements.

Foreign students must be able to demonstrate written and oral Italian proficiency.
International candidates outside the EU residing abroad will only have to contact the competent consular diplomatic offices present in their country in order to submit the pre-enrollment application, which must NOT be sent electronically through the UNIVESITALY portal.

The entrance exams to the first level Academic Diploma Course consist of an aptitude and motivational interview, of general culture and with specific questions according to the school.

  • they will take place on 8 commissions (two per school) through a motivational and aptitude interview.
  • candidates will be contacted, 5 every hour starting from 9.00, through a link in Google Meet.
  • the questions will focus on the history of art and general culture.
  • each candidate will also have to prepare a personal portfolio consisting of the work done in high school or spontaneously produced and elaborated materials.
  • candidates will be contacted via a link in Google Meet in groups of 5 starting from 9.00.
  • the results will be published at the end of the session on your online profile.
  • the candidate who does not meet the minimum requirements highlighted by the commission will not pass the test

  • The interview for admission to the First Level of the School of Set Design will be articulated on three levels: general knowledge, verification of the characterizing expressive technical skills, motivations / aptitude.
  • In the case of foreign students, good knowledge of the Italian language will be assessed.
  • 7 days before the interviews, a text will be sent to the candidates via email: a cinematographic "subject" in which an environment is described. Candidates must create 5 perspective drawings, freehand, with any techniques they wish to illustrate and interpret the space described in the text.
  • During the interview, the candidate will be asked to show a ppt or pdf presentation containing: The 5 drawings of the project and 5 works that represent the candidate's training path, personality and interests. In addition, some general knowledge questions will be asked and the commission will inquire about the candidate's school curriculum and skills.
  • The interviews will be held by 4 commissions made up of 2 teachers each.
  • Candidates will be summoned to 4 at a time every hour starting from 9.00 on the first day.
  • The results will be published at the end of the session on your online profile.
  • The candidate who does not meet the minimum requirements highlighted by the commission will not pass the test.

Artistic design for business

  • questions will focus on specific topics related to design, planning and general culture.

  • the results will be published at the end of the session on your online profile.
  • the candidate who does not meet the minimum requirements highlighted by the commission will not pass the test.

Art and New Tecnologies

  • Will take place through a motivational / aptitude and general culture interview.
  • Each candidate must present a project made with any technique (for example a storyboard or a photographic sequence or a video) that represents his / her training path, but also his / her personality and interests. The project must be loaded onto a drive, the details of which will be communicated later.
  • The commissions will consist of 2 teachers who will evaluate 5 students per hour.
  • Candidates will be contacted via a link in Google Meet in groups of 5 starting from 9.00.
  • At the end of all the interviews, the list of admitted candidates will be communicated on their online profile.
  • The results will be published at the end of the session on your online profile.
  • The candidate who does not meet the minimum requirements highlighted by the commission will not pass the test.
